Raccoon/Trash Panda, digital painting

I needed to paint a raccoon for a trash-related PSA image. So, I started with a really rough sketch, as I have done with all my other, more recent, animals so far. I looked at several photos of raccoons online, found a pose that would work, and rough-sketched it out. I didn't like the tail that went with this body (it was very thin), so I found a tail on another photo and went with that.
So here's the little raccoon somewhat done. He's missing his hind feet and front paw details, but he was really starting to come together. I had started off making him brown like the images, but we all kind of imagine raccoons as grey for some reason, so I went with that colour scheme instead.
Here's the little guy with a bit better blending, a hind foot (the other behind hidden behind, and detailing for toes, claws, etc. He's a bit of a chubby fellow, but I'm also good with that as many of the raccoons in our area are on the "well fed" side, and very cute.
In the end, I think he turned out alright. I did some more bending on the fur and tightened up some detail work. Is he perfect? No. But I'm happy with him. I added the other details such as the leaky milk carton and apple core, shading beneath him and the garbage, and then the empty garbage bin too. It's not a masterpiece but it will work nicely on our digital signage and I'm happy enough with him to put him out there.
